Quick start

A safe evaluation sequence after receiving an authorized release package.

Before you begin

Use a Linux host with Python 3.12 or 3.13
Confirm Debian 13 validation or review the compatibility matrix
Choose non-secret node identity and protected audit locations
Keep dry_run set to true
Enable only the collectors you intend to evaluate

Validate and observe

pantaw version
pantaw config validate --config /etc/pantaw/pantaw.yaml
pantaw collector list --json
pantaw collector validate --config /etc/pantaw/pantaw.yaml --json
pantaw collector run-enabled --config /etc/pantaw/pantaw.yaml --json

Run one audited cycle

pantaw check --config /etc/pantaw/pantaw.yaml --json

Review both audit backends and confirm that no system-changing action occurred.
